Zlatan Ibrahimović earlier confirmed, via his social media, that he is to join Manchester United. This decision sees him meet up with Jose Mourinho once again. In the one year they were together at Inter, Zlatan won the 2008-09 Serie A title and the Capocannoniere with 25 goals, which earned him the title of Foreign Player of the Year.
Although the 34-year-old decided to leave PSG at the end of last season, it did not take his focus off the pitch. Last season saw him at his most prolific, scoring 50 goals in 51 games and at one point he had scored 38 in 31 games.

It is believed that Zlatan is to sign a one-year contract worth £225,000-per-week deal with an option for a second year. The details are not yet finalised as Ibrahimović is yet to undergo his medical, which is expected to happen tomorrow before he officially signs the contract.
With Zlatan announcing he will be at Man United next season, Mourinho’s attention will surely turn to completing the deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. The Telegraph believes United are in “advanced negotiations” with the player.
